Position: TECHNICAL CLERK

Minimum Requirements:

A tertiary qualification in the applicable field will be an advantage – Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration or Personal Assistant.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in office administration.

Previous experience in a Petrochemical project environment will be an advantage.

Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of Sharepoint and Smartsheet will be an advantage.

Be familiar with Engineering documents, for example MDR’s, P&’s, ISO’s, Mechanical drawings, Loop drawings, etc.

Understanding of basic technical concepts.

Ability to capture data accurately.

Self-driven and well disciplined.

Professional appearance.

Excellent communication and telephone skills in the English language.

Be able to work under pressure.

Valid driver’s license (Code B / EB) with own transport.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with quotations, incoming purchase orders, invoicing/forecasting.

Document management.

Accurate data capturing for quality measurements, invoicing and business administration.

Liaise with clients, suppliers, inspection authorities and others.

General office administration (maintaining the filing system, handling of phones, etc.)
