Our client has the aboveexcitingvacancy available for ahands-onStore Manager with strongleadershipand organisational skills. The position will be based in Stellenbosch.
The incumbent will be responsible for managing two food convenience stores (combined with restaurant facilities) that mainly serve the student market in Stellenbosch – one well-established existing store, and a new store to be opened in early 2025. The two stores are approximately 200m2 each, with about 50 staff members between both stores.
The Store Manager will also play an integral part in setting up the new store, as well as setting up systems for optimal efficiency in both stores.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Day-to-day running of stores with the assistance of two Junior Managers
Personnel management
Dailyinventory management
Budget managementpertaining to inventory
Deciding on products and product changes
Ensuring excellent customer service
All other tasks related to the role
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
Matric required, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role in the food/restaurant industry, including experience in a managerial capacity
Good computer literacy (MS Office required, Pilot advantageous)
Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
Valid driver’s license & own reliable vehicle
