Shipping Clerk – 1st Shift Jobs in Marathon, WI at Channeled Resources Group

We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized individual to join our logistics team as a Shipping Clerk for our Label Division in Marathon City, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of outgoing shipments, maintaining our shipping logs, and communicating effectively with various departments to keep our operations running smoothly. This is a physical, hands-on, fast-paced, working along side production role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret sales orders to understand shipping requirements and specific product specifications.
- Coordinate daily with Sales Representatives, Customer Service, and Logistics Clerks to determine shipping priorities.
- Use the Radius ERP system to perform stock movements and locate materials within the warehouse.
- Thoroughly check all skids for accuracy and compliance before relocating them to the shipping area.
- Wrap skids, scan them to the correct locations, and ensure all orders are prepped and ready for timely departure.
- Maintain and manage the daily shipping log.
- Work safely while performing all physical duties required of the position.
Required Skill Set:
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with office and warehouse staff.
- Ability to work effectively and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being a contributing team player.
- A positive attitude and a proven track record of reliable attendance.
- Previous forklift experience is a plus; must have the ability to pass internal forklift certification testing.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- 1st Shift: 6:30am – 3:00pm/Monday – Friday & Overtime is scheduled as needed
- May need to work longer during month-end.
- Starting wage of $21.00 per hour with a review after 30- & 60- days
