In this role, you will perform routine inspections, troubleshoot equipment issues, handle water chemistry balancing, and ensure all pool systems operate efficiently. The position will encompass customers on both Sanibel and Captiva Island, Florida.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of commercial pools, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment checks
- Troubleshoot & Diagnose and pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and circulation systems using appropriate tools and techniques
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of pool components
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for each pool serviced as required by the company and governing outlet
- Assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical issues related to pool systems and recommend solutions for ongoing performance improvements
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies
- Operate company vehicles safely and within company policies to transport equipment and supplies to various aquatic facilities.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries professionally and ensuring their aquatic environments meet safety standards.
- Other maintenance duties as requested/needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in pool maintenance or aquatic facility operations is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool plumbing systems and equipment troubleshooting preferred.
- Ability to handle water treatment chemicals safely and accurately follow chemical balancing procedures.
- Familiarity with pool chemistry balancing techniques to ensure safe swimming conditions.
- Attention to detail, with the ability to spot and report safety concerns or opportunities to improve the swimming environment
- Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions with outdoor work including consistent exposure to Florida sun and heat.
- Willingness to train, complete additional coursework, and grow alongside teammates
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude towards clients and team members.
- Ability to work shifts starting at 7:30AM ET to 4:00PM ET
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for operating company vehicles responsibly.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy equipment, standing for extended periods, and performing outdoor work consistently. Minimum weight lifting capability of 50pds.

Pay: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour
