EXPERIENCED MOVING FOREMAN / DRIVER

U. Santini is a family-owned Brooklyn moving company with 96+ years of experience, specializing in high-touch residential and commercial moves. We are seeking a career-level Moving Foreman / Driver who can lead crews, manage jobs, drive company vehicles, and take ownership of the customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage residential and commercial jobs from start to finish
- Handle bills of lading, labor hours, materials, and digital/descriptive inventories
- Direct and train movers/helpers
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Safely load, unload, pack, transport, and protect household goods
- Protect floors, walls, doorways, elevators, and furniture using Masonite, Skudo Board, furniture pads, etc.
- Perform furniture disassembly/reassembly and handle specialty items when needed
- Identify and solve problems before they become issues
- Keep crews productive, organized, professional, and compliant with company/safety standards
- Drive company vehicles
- Take full ownership of the job and customer experience – you are the top of the chain of command
Required:
- Professional moving experience with a licensed moving company
- Strong leadership and crew-management ability
- Experience protecting residences properly
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Reliable, punctual, professional, and physically capable
- English proficiency
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred:
- 3+ years of professional moving experience
- Foreman/Lead Mover experience
- Box-truck driving experience
- High-end residential experience
- Furniture disassembly/reassembly
- Packing and specialty-item experience
