Overview
An Ophthalmology practice is looking for a Medical Assistant / Ophthalmic Assistant, who is energetic and devoted to work in a medical clinic setting. The position is located in Sherman, TX.
This position includes duties such as:
- Checking vision
- Entering patients’ history and complaints in the EMR
- Perform diagnostic testing and setup laser/procedures
- Assist doctor as needed
- This position is a full time and requires to work 4 days a week. Position involves travel to satellite office on some days of the week in the company car along with other staff. These days are longer days from 7 AM to 7 PM days. If you have some personal obligations which require you not to be available, this job may not be a good fit for you.
We will train suitable candidates who show commitment to learning about ophthalmology.
We require
- Previous Medical Assistant experience
- Ability to speak clearly and understandably.
- Ability to accurately record information.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Excellent work ethic
Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
