Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCPC, LGPC, LCADC) to join our dynamic mental health team. Duties
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, family, and youth therapy sessions using modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and trauma-focused approaches.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management techniques to ensure client safety during acute episodes.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote therapy sessions while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and case managers—to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in EMR/EHR systems following clinical ethical guidelines and HIPAA privacy laws.
- Engage in ongoing clinical research and data collection to enhance evidence-based practices within the organization.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as an LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor), LGPC (Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor), or LCADC (Licensed Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor).
- Demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health treatments including applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management, addiction counseling, PTSD care, grief counseling, and chronic pain counseling.
- Proficiency in crisis management techniques, trauma-focused therapy, social work principles, and medical terminology relevant to mental health care.
- Experience working with co-occurring disorders and individuals with disabilities across outpatient or inpatient settings.
- Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and clinical documentation standards.
- Excellent client communication skills combined with the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Knowledge of telehealth therapy platforms and experience providing services via remote modalities preferred.

Pay: $84,237.33 – $101,447.11 per year
