Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer focused Counter Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, handling transactions efficiently, and maintaining a positive and welcoming store environment. This role requires a strong understanding of inventory management and the ability to troubleshoot and locate different automotive and heavy-duty truck parts for customers. Work with colleagues to accomplish goals and projects.
Duties:
– Greet and assist customers with their needs, providing product knowledge and recommendations.
– Operate our POS system with accuracy and efficiency, processing transactions, and handling returns and exchanges.
– Use exceptional phone etiquette to answer customer calls and respond to customer inquiries.
-Identify different heavy duty/automotive parts from customers.
– Maintain a high level of knowledge about our products and services.
– Conduct order fulfillment tasks, including preparing orders for customers.
– Ensure that the store is clean and organized, adhering to high standards of maintenance and appearance.
Experience:
– Previous experience with talking and working with customers is required.
– Knowledge in automotive and heavy truck parts is required.
– Experience with POS systems and inventory management are preferred.
– Prior experience with maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Qualifications:
– Knowledge of identifying heavy duty and/or automotive parts.
– Excellent customer service skills.
– General knowledge of inventory management.
– Proficiency in using computers.
– Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
– Able to pay attention to details.
– Have a willingness to learn and ask questions.
– Valid driver’s license to maintain attendance and reliability.
