The demand for Generators has grown rapidly over the past two years and we are looking to expand our team by adding a Generator Installer who will always put the customer first. After all, we believe that our employees are our greatest asset and give us a competitive edge due to the excellent service they provide.
We are looking for a Generator Installer to join our team to be responsible for installing automatic backup generators.
What You’ll Do:
- Install Generac residential and commercial standby generator systems.
- Connect generator units to electrical and fuel systems according to specifications.
- Collaborate with service technicians and project management teams to ensure efficient project completion.
- Perform installations that meet all safety standards, manufacturer requirements, and local codes.
- Safely transport tools, equipment, and materials using company-provided vehicles.
- Educate customers on generator operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
- Accurately document installation activities, project updates, and completion details.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and professional job site at all times.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in electrical, mechanical, construction, or related trades preferred.
- Working knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and electrical components.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and position heavy equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively with team members and customers.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
