We are looking for a DELIVERY DRIVER/Warehouse Associate. MUST qualify for a DOT medical card and pass a Federal DOT exam. Federal laws apply for drug testing. This individual will work alongside our amazing team where they excel at organizing merchandise and keeping track of inventory so our customers can narrow down the best option for them and their family, making their house feel a little more like home.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates a positive attitude towards customers.
- Interacts with customers in a professional manner.
- Listens to customers questions and concerns.
- Collaborates with coworkers to meet customer satisfaction.
- Assists with loading, unloading, prepping, and pulling merchandise for deliveries and transfers as needed.
- Informs supervisor of any challenges or complicated tasks.
- Transports merchandise as needed between our locations as well as to and from customers’ homes.
- Communicates any delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situation to supervisor. Inspects company vehicle to ensure it is operationally safe and free of any needed repairs or maintenance.
- Operates company vehicle in accordance with company policy and abides by all traffic laws.
- Verifies the contents of inventory loads against paperwork before transferring items.
- Utilizes protective devices such as padding, bracing, or strapping to prevent shifting or damage to merchandise being delivered, transported, or stored.
- Assembles merchandise as needed.
- Meets freight, transfer, delivery, and pull/prep goals set by department.

- Know company policies and procedures. Upholds all company safety procedures and follows OSHA and any State related safety standards and practices.
- Attend training sessions and department meetings as required.
Qualifications & Certifications
- Prior experience as a Warehouse Associate or Delivery Driver is a plus.
- MUST qualify for a DOT medical card and pass a Federal DOT exam. Must have a clean driving record to be added to the company automobile insurance.
- We are a drug-free workplace. Successful candidates will be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to successfully perform delivery driver responsibilities as well as possess basic computer skills.
- General knowledge of basic tools is a plus.
- This position regularly requires the ability to but not limited to standing, sitting, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping and reaching.
- Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull of objects up to 75 pounds, and with the help of equipment and assistance maneuver heavy objects.
- Rate of pay DOE.
