– Reporting to the Branch Foreman, the Mechanic Assistant provides support to qualified personnel.
– Performs all and/or any ancillary duties required in the given work area and/or job as instructed by the technician or foreman.
– Provides assistance to the responsible technician as required.
– Performs routine machine technical work when and where required.
– Undertakes workshop maintenance as instructed.
– Operates lifting and/or rigging equipment as instructed.
– Maintains clean and safe service vehicle and tools.
– Must be willing to work overtime and work away from home when required.
