Position Summary
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Customs Brokerage Coordinator to support our customs brokerage operations. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely entry of import documentation for fresh produce shipments. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates exceptional accuracy, and has an interest in customs compliance and perishable imports.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter shipment data, product classifications, and importer details into the customs brokerage system
- Review and verify import documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and USDA/FDA certifications
- Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and other regulatory requirements related to perishable goods
- Communicate with importers, freight forwarders, and regulatory agencies to obtain missing or corrected information
- Monitor shipment status and assist in resolving discrepancies, holds, or delays
- Maintain organized and complete records of all processed entries and compliance documentation
- Provide administrative and operational support to licensed customs brokers and team members as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent attendance and reliability are required
- Prior data entry experience required (customs brokerage, logistics, or import industry experience preferred)
- Familiarity with customs documentation and perishable import regulations is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with customs brokerage software (e.g., ACE, CargoWise, or similar systems) is an advantage
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Must be bilingual- English/Spanish
- Excellent attendance and reliability are required.

Pay: $19.95 – $24.00 per hour
