We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as moving supplies, equipment, and materials around the site
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively under supervision
- Support concrete work by mixing, pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction
- Install rebar, metal studs, framing, and perform masonry or stucco work as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate construction according to plans
- Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating processes
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately for various construction tasks
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation
- Understanding of construction safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times
- Skilled in interpreting technical schematics and working on diverse construction projects such as flooring installation or heavy lifting tasks
