Join our team as a Concrete General Laborer and be a vital part of building durable, high-quality foundations. As a Concrete General Laborer, you will support skilled tradespeople by performing essential tasks that ensure the safety, efficiency, and precision of concrete installation and related activities. Your hands-on contribution will help bring architectural visions to life while adhering to strict safety standards and construction protocols.
Duties
- Help set, build, and strip concrete forms
- Assist with concrete pours
- Move and handle materials and equipment
- Use hand and power tools
- Help place, spread, and level concrete
- Assist with concrete finishing
- Help with rebar installation and preparation
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Follow all safety procedures
- Work effectively as part of a crew
- Perform other general construction duties as needed
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites with exposure to concrete work or general labor tasks is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings enhances your ability to contribute effectively.
- Understanding of safety protocols specific to construction workplaces ensures compliance and promotes a safe working environment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate hand tools or power tools efficiently is essential.
