Overview
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to assist with Building Maintenance and Groundskeeper to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities. This dynamic role involves performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, from electrical repairs to landscaping, to create a welcoming and well-maintained environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with various tools and systems, and a passion for maintaining high standards of building operations. Duties
- Perform general maintenance and upkeep of our Monastery and its beautiful grounds.
- Maintain lawns and gardens.
- Safely operate riding lawn mowers and tractors.
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and upkeep
- Run errands for supplies and materials etc
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures when using vehicles and tools
- Work cooperatively with fellow employees
Qualifications
*Must have a NH drivers license and clean driving record
*Must speak English
*Must have a high school or GED education
*Comfortable with learning new skills and performing hands on tasks
*Take pride in what you do
*Reliable, responsible and able to work with others or independently
*Love the outdoors
*Have a good attitude and willingness to pitch in as needed
*Ability to safely operate riding tractors and other equipment or willing to learn
*Some knowledge of plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills
Our ideal candidate is someone who is dependable, versatile, willing to pitch in wherever needed, takes pride in keeping our Monastery property and vehicles in excellent condition.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important as previous experience!
Pay: $18.50 – $21.00 per hour
