Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct auto parts and accessories, ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Manage inventory levels through accurate stock control, ordering, and replenishment using inventory management systems like CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Process sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems while maintaining cash handling accuracy
- Provide technical advice on vehicle maintenance, automotive diagnostics, and repair procedures to support customer needs
- Collaborate with the team to ensure proper stocking, merchandising, and organization of automotive parts and accessories
- Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, product knowledge, and personalized service
- Support vehicle maintenance and repair activities by supplying parts and troubleshooting mechanical issues as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive diagnostics, repair, or dealership environments with a solid understanding of vehicle systems and automotive parts management
- Strong negotiation skills to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse clientele
- Familiarity with inventory management software such as CMMS or similar tools; proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred
- Knowledge of retail sales processes, POS systems, cashiering, and retail math to handle transactions accurately
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills combined with automotive repair experience to support customer inquiries effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organizational skills and attention to detail
- Customer service orientation with a focus on building lasting client relationships through clear communication and professional demeanor
