My Client a Building Materials / Hardware supplier ( construction and homebuilding) in Hoedspruit , Limpopo is urgently recruiting for a Yard Manager for this busy building supplier branch.
Remuneration
Competitive Basic Salary + Commission
Requirements
Matric
Tertiary qualification in a Trade – construction , building etc – preferred
Strong verbal communication skills
broad understanding of construction , home building industry
good time management & organization skills
ability to function effectively as part of a team
dependable
ability to understand and follow directions.
Driver’s License and clean driving record
Experience in Shop or Yard Management
Building / Civil Construction knowledge
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage & Organize equipment & materials in yard
Inventory Bulk Materials weekly
Purchase, receive, and store bulk materials properly
Organize & Maintain cleanliness of Shop & Yard
Facilitate truck maintenance & trailers (along with other equipment)
Weekly Shop Safety Inspections
Oversee material waste and dumpster pickups
Daily deliveries to jobsites (if & when required)
Shop floor sales
