Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Wholesale Counter Sales Associate to join our HVAC Wholesale team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for wholesale parts sales, inventory management, and customer service within a fast-paced environment. Your expertise in HVAC parts, accessories, and heating/air conditioning systems will drive customer satisfaction and support our operational success. Duties
- Assist wholesale customers by providing expert advice on HVAC parts and accessories, ensuring accurate product recommendations tailored to their HVAC needs
- Manage inventory levels using wholesale parts management systems (CMMS) and POS (Point of Sale) software to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages
- Process orders efficiently through order fulfillment procedures, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation
- Build strong customer relationships through proactive communication, personalized service, and effective negotiation to maximize sales opportunities
- Conduct HVAC diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting to identify suitable parts solutions for various equipment issues
- Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, sales activities, and customer interactions using Microsoft Office tools and inventory control systems
- Support HVAC repair operations by coordinating with technicians on parts availability and equipment maintenance requirements
- Handle cash handling duties with accuracy during retail transactions and cashiering processes while adhering to company policies
Experience
- Proven experience in HVAC parts sales or wholesale environment with a strong understanding of HVAC repair processes and air conditioning systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC diagnostics, mechanical troubleshooting, and air conditioning maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with inventory management software (CMMS), POS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and customer relationship management tools
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse customer bases
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills to build lasting client relationships
- Previous experience in retail/wholesale sales or HVAC industry with a focus on air conditioning and heating accessories is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
