Ambient Recruiting is partnering with a growing Northern Michigan fulfillment and logistics company to hire an Inventory Associate. This position plays a vital role in ensuring inventory is accurate, organized, and available to support customer orders shipped across the country.

What You’ll Be Doing
In this position, you’ll:
- Receive, count, and verify incoming inventory shipments
- Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy
- Research and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Organize inventory locations and maintain accurate stock levels
- Update inventory records using warehouse management software and handheld barcode scanners
- Replenish pick locations to support order fulfillment operations
- Assist with receiving, put-away, shipping, and warehouse support as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Work closely with warehouse team members to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For
Successful candidates typically have:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable using computers, handheld scanners, and warehouse technology
- Previous inventory, warehouse, shipping & receiving, or logistics experience is preferred but not required
- Basic math and counting skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
