We are seeking an experienced, organized, detail-oriented Shipping Specialist to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient processing of shipments, ensuring that all orders are picked, packed, and dispatched in a timely manner. Responsibilities
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners
- Verify shipping labels and archiving appropriate records
- Exceptional attention to detail, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
- Assisting customers with pre & post shipping needs
- Prepare all shipping documents needed, arranging all carrier and customer pickups
- Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry and stock management within warehouse management systems
- Handling of carrier concerns
- Coordinate with logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries while tracking shipment status for timely dispatch
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to uphold stock integrity
- Submitting and ensuring payment of carrier claims where apllicable
- Minimum 5 years direct proven experience working in warehouse operations or distribution centers with a focus on shipping & receiving
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems, inventory management software, ERP systems
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and other warehouse equipment
- Strong understanding of shipping logistics, ERP systems, order fulfillment and packaging standards
- Excellent data entry skills combined with customer service abilities to communicate effectively with team members and external partners
- Prior experience adhering to trade compliance standards and international trade regulations is a plus
Pay: $24.00 – $25.00 per hour
