Position: Visual Communication / Graphic Design lecturer
Lecturing:
Planning and managing of weekly classes
Preparation and delivery of learning content
Consultation on practical projects
Develop learning material if required
Organize additional workshops and field trips
Assessment of formative and summative assessments.
General academic administration:
Record student attendance
Identify students at risk
Set up additional support for students
Record student results
Present the qualification at open days
Minimum requirements:
BA(HON) in Graphic Design / Visual Communication (NQF
8)
3 years industry experience
3 years lecturing experience
Computer Literacy
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Premier Pro
Adobe After Effects
HTML / Wordpress
Adobe Indesign
Additional competencies required
Photography
Cinematography
Drawing
