Responsibilities

- Operate a variety of kitchen equipment including pizza ovens, dough mixers, and slicing tools efficiently and safely
- Develop and refine menu items, incorporating innovative toppings and techniques while maintaining authentic regional flavors
- Maintain strict food safety sanitizing procedures throughout the kitchen to ensure a hygienic environment at all times
- Manage high-volume production during peak hours, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality
- Demonstrate excellent knife skills for dough handling, ingredient preparation, and garnishing
- Collaborate with team members on food handling, portion control, and recipe adherence to uphold consistency across all dishes
Experience
- Extensive experience in high-volume restaurant environments specializing in pizza or similar culinary disciplines
- Proven track record of working with food safety management systems and sanitizing procedures in a professional kitchen setting
- Strong background in food industry standards including food handling, cooking techniques, dough fermentation
- Skilled in menu planning, meal preparation, and catering experience with an emphasis on authentic regional styles like pizza
- Demonstrated ability to operate kitchen equipment efficiently while maintaining safety protocols
- Excellent knife skills combined with knowledge of recipe adherence and high-volume production experience
