Trailer Mechanic Jobs in Battle Creek, MI at Behnke Logistics
Behnke Dedicated is a trucking company based out of the battle creek area for 30+ years. We are looking for a qualified trailer mechanic to help maintain our fleet of 300+ plus trailers.
Employees would be expected to:
1. Perform Federally mandated inspection of ’53 dry vans and flatbed trailers to ensure proper fleet compliance.
2. Perform repairs on any issue with the trailer i.e. brakes, tires, wiring, floors, and lights.
3. Decal new units with their correct new numbers .
4. Perform roof and structural repairs as needed
Requirements:
1. 1 year trailer repair exp.
2. Own basic tools for job as required.(specialty tools supplied as needed)
3. Reliable employee with strong work ethic.
4. State certifications are a plus but not required.
5. Welding knowledge
6. Valid driver’s license. CDL is a plus but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Starting $25 to $30 per hour based on experience
