Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: South Africa, Johannesburg
Reports to: Director of Business Development
Purpose of Role: Selling the full range of legal guidance, research and AI tools to any legal professional.
Key Responsibilities:
Formulate a strategy on an account-by-account basis to maximize new revenue opportunities and win profitable business.
Ensure the team meets sales and productivity targets.
Manage debt by working closely with customers.
Ensure GDPR execution following rules and processes.
Prepare a sales strategy for the allocated territory, accurately forecasting new business month by month, and providing a three-month forecast at any given time.
Provide the Head of Business Development with forecasts and reports as requested.
Produce regular and ad hoc sales reports.
Prepare a sales plan to displace competitive products within the prospective client base.
Achieve and exceed monthly targets as defined by the Head of Business Development.
Develop new contacts, either as decision-makers or influencers.
Prioritize opportunities to ensure maximum customer-facing time.
Work effectively alongside other stakeholder departments to ensure an integrated approach to customer care and that market needs are being met.
Demonstrate complete knowledge of the features, advantages, and benefits of all LN products and be able to demonstrate them fully.
Keep up to date with market changes and developments, as well as new products.
