SAGE Dining Services ®is seeking a Dishwasher to join our team at at a private boarding school in Kent. Here, you will play a key role in making sure that delicious and appealing meals are served to our community. A steward (dish washer) maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in restaurants, hotels, or commercial kitchens. Key duties include dish washing, cleaning food preparation areas, managing waste, and supporting kitchen staff.
Typical work week will be around 30 hours; which is considered full time.
Pay Type: $18.50 -$20.00 Hourly
Time Commitment: Full/Part Time
Schedule:
- Friday through Sunday
- 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Available overtime for catering events with prior notice
Must work weekends: Most of the time

What you’ll do:
- Taking orders, accepting payments and serving menu items.
- Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members.
- Adhere to SAGE’s recipes and allergy prevention policies.
- Set up, clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations.
- Balance bank by counting drawer at the beginning and end of shift.
What you’ll need:
- Experience in food and beverage preparation and customer service preferred.
- Ability to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience as a barista preferred.
- Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English accurately.
