Standby Generator Technician Wanted Jobs in Ulster County, NY at Gen-Plus, Inc.
We are looking for a motivated and dependable Service Technician to perform maintenance and service on residential standby generators.
Experience with small engines is required. Previous standby generator experience is preferred, but not required. Basic electrical knowledge is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
This is a full-time, year-round position that requires working outdoors in all weather conditions.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have small engine experience
- Have a clean driving record
- Be able to work independently
- Be willing to learn and develop new skills
- Have strong attention to detail
- Be self-motivated and dependable
- Have good communication skills
- Be professional and well-spoken when interacting with customers
- Be physically capable of bending, kneeling, and working in various outdoor conditions
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Full-time
- Overtime available as needed once fully trained
Standby generator experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. If you have small engine experience, a strong work ethic, and enjoy working with your hands, we’d like to hear from you.
