Architectural Specialties of Brevard (real estate development firm) Owner/operator of the Radisson Resort at the Port, Four Points by Sheraton, Cocoa Beach Suites, Cocoa Beach Surf Company and various other entities is seeking skilled commercial painters to join our team.
Must have at least one year commercial painting exp.
Responsibilities-
- · Prepare surfaces for painting, including pressure washing, sanding and paint removal.
- · Repair damaged surfaces.
- · Tape, float and texture surfaces.
- · Recommend best product/solutions depending on situation/project.
- · Paint using various methods; brushes, rollers, sprayers and special effect methods.
- · Stain, seal and varnish applicable surfaces.
- · Erect scaffolding, use ladders, lifts to perform tasks above ground level.
- · Maintain inventory of tools and maintain company equipment in safe working order.
- · Clean up work site at end of day
- · Use and store equipment and products safely and properly.
- · Other duties as assigned.
- Requirements-
- · Must have knowledge of equipment, materials, methods, practices, and tools used in the painting trade.
- · Able to operate a lift.
- · Ability to properly apply paints.
- · Knowledge of and ability to mix paint and to match colors.
- · Able to follow instructions, written and verbal.
- · Ability to do take-offs and estimate job cost and timeframes.
- Qualifications
- · Must have at least one year commercial painting experience
- · Must have a valid driver’s license.
- · Must be able to work with paint related products and materials
- · Must be able to climb ladders, work above ground level.
- · Must be able to work in exterior or interior conditions.

Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour
