The team of Employee Owners at Lueken’s Village Foods is seeking an Experienced Assistant Produce Manager to oversee our South Bemidji location. If you have a positive high energy attitude and can think like an owner, you would be a great addition to our team.
Knowledge/Skills:

· Must understand the importance of and provide excellent customer service.
· Able to communicate clearly and consistently across a broad range of individuals.
· Basic computer and typing skills. Prior knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred, but willing to train.
· Ability to properly prioritize assigned tasks and directives.
· Ensure that all produce is properly stocked, dated, priced, and rotated in compliance with store standards and all health and safety laws.
· Monitor inventory levels, minimize product loss, maintain a positive relationship with vendors, and effectively manage product orders.
Physical Requirements:
· Able to lift produce items and stock, (50-70lbs)
· Able to lift below the knees and above the shoulders
· Able to twist and reach 50+ times a day
· Able to push carts of products, 30-50 lbs force
· Frequent exposure to water, cold and moist conditions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
