Ensure smooth dispatch and import of shipments from start to finish.
Communicate with product management to confirm supply capabilities and import needs.
Collaborate across business units to optimize processes considering various risks.
Quote customers promptly and manage sales orders; obtain import shipment quotes when needed.
Utilize software to track, prioritize, and route orders effectively.
Manage import documentation such as shipping notices, bills of lading, and letters of credit, ensuring compliance with country regulations.
Control costs and organize shipping within budget constraints.
Lead and oversee the shipping department staff.
Guide administrative staff on regulations and documentation requirements.
Ensure compliance with statutory, company, and SHEQ policies.
