R 40 000 – R 80 000 CTC (Depending on experience)
Our client in the Information Technology industry is looking for a Systems Administrator to join their team in Malelane
POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role
- Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows, Linux and others
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies
- Certification for virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Certification for cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server certifications
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) as well as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) would be beneficial
- Own reliable transport
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure and maintain operating systems, software and hardware components
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Implement security measures to protect systems and data from unauthorized access or breaches
- Manage user accounts, permissions and access rights
- Perform routine backups and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to plan and implement system upgrades and enhancements
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users as needed
