G&H Equipment is a family-owned, well-established outdoor power equipment dealership proudly serving our community for over 70 years. We are seeking a full-time Service Writer to join our team. This is a key role focused on customer service, workflow coordination, and keeping our service department running efficiently.
We are an authorized dealer for John Deere, Kubota, Hustler, and Stihl.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Seasonal Saturdays (April, May and June): 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Pay & Benefits:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greet and assist service customers in-person and over the phone
- Write up repair orders and document customer concerns clearly
- Prepare estimates and communicate repair timelines and costs
- Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion
- Schedule equipment pickup and delivery
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient service department
- Support and help lead service technicians
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Mechanical knowledge or experience required
- Computer proficiency (experience with service/repair software is a plus)
- Reliable, motivated, and team-oriented
- Knowledge of the geography of the state of CT including major highways and town locations
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must pass a background check and drug screening

Pay: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour
