Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Service Roofing Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing roofing repairs, installations, and maintenance on commercial properties. Your expertise will help ensure our projects meet safety standards and quality expectations while delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Duties
- Conduct roofing repairs using hand tools, power tools, and roofing materials such as metal roofing and single-ply membrane systems
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute installation and repair tasks
- Safely operate ladders, scaffolding, and construction safety harnesses while adhering to all construction workplace safety regulations
- Install siding, stucco, trim carpentry, and perform restoration or remodeling work as needed on commercial structures
- Perform heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions to complete projects efficiently
- Follow detailed construction plans and schematics to ensure precise execution of roofing and related tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and proper use of hand tools and power tools
Skills
- Extensive construction estimating experience with a focus on roofing projects
- Strong knowledge of roofing repair techniques including metal roofing and single-ply membrane systems
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, welding equipment, tile laying tools, masonry tools, plumbing fixtures, and fabrication equipment
- Experience with ladder use, scaffolding setup, and construction safety harnesses for elevated work
- Familiarity with construction safety harnesses and adherence to all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations for construction site safety
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper body mechanics
- Knowledge of masonry, framing carpentry including metal stud framing, drywall installation, and trim carpentry
- Experience with concrete forming, welding, tile laying, stucco application, masonry work, plumbing integration, remodeling projects, restoration efforts, and handyman tasks

Pay: $22.00 – $30.00 per hour
