We are seeking a Change Manager to join our team. As a Service Desk Change Manager, you’ll play a vital role in coordinating, assessing, and implementing IT changes with minimal disruption. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, uphold best practices, and keep operations running seamlessly.
What you’ll do:
Develop and Implement Change Strategies:
Create and execute effective change management plans that align with organizational goals.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Identify, communicate, and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure buy-in and manage resistance.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with change initiatives.
Communication:
Craft and deliver clear, consistent communication regarding changes to all levels of the organization.
Leadership Skills:
Ability to lead teams through change and inspire confidence.
Training and Facilitation Skills:
Proficiency in designing and conducting training sessions to support change adoption.
Risk Management:
Assess and mitigate risks related to change initiatives.
Monitor Evaluate:
Track progress, measure success, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure successful change adoption.
Documentation Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of change processes and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
Ensure that all CAB meetings are attended by representatives from the technical team, as well as the Change Manager.
Required to attend CAB meetings in South Africa, Eurasia, North America, and International CAB meetings across different time zones.
Managing and approving assets for new users, as well as overseeing the replacement of devices. This includes raising purchase orders with buyers for device parts that require replacement.
Your expertise:
Experience in Change Management:
Typically 3-5 years of experience in managing or supporting change initiatives.
Project Management
Experience:
Experience in managing projects, especially in terms of process improvement or business transformation.
Industry-Specific
Experience:
Some roles require experience within specific industries IT.
Possess a thorough understanding of Dell products, including various laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
Qualifications required:
Grade 12
Soft Skills
ITIL 4 Foundation
Management Skills
Data analytics
IT Knowledge on assets
