Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership: Manage and supervise workshop staff, completing work efficiently and to the highest standards.
Quality Control: Monitor and inspect work to ensure compliance with company guidelines, safety standards, and legal regulations.
Inventory and Equipment Management: Track and manage workshop supplies, tools, and equipment. Ensure the workshop is well-stocked and equipment is properly maintained.
Health and Safety Management: Enforce health and safety standards, conduct training, and address any safety issues promptly.
Budget and Cost Control: Help control workshop expenses by managing resources efficiently and minimizing waste.
Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff to enhance skills and keep up with the latest industry advancements.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, inventory, and staff performance.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a workshop or similar environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Knowledge of quality control, inventory management, and health and safety regulations.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
