Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Construction Manager Building role based in the City of Cape Town. The Construction Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of building projects. Responsibilities include managing budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and safety standards, coordinating with teams and stakeholders, supervising on-site activities, and performing building maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and high-quality project delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Building Management and Facility Management (FM)
- Strong Communication skills for effective liaison with teams, contractors, and clients
- Experience in Building Maintenance and ensuring structural integrity of projects
- Proficiency in Budgeting and financial management of construction projects
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and team management skills
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards in construction
- ND Building or Project Management or additional Qualification and experience in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field would be preferred
- Project management certification or relevant industry experience is an advantage
