Senior Dev Ops Engineer – Sandton City
Location: Sandton City, on-site, 4 days a week

Key Responsibilities:
Architect, develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Cloud Formation and AWS CDK.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with tools like Ansible.
Develop robust automation scripts in Python and optionally other backend languages such as Golang, Java, or Scala.
Design and implement scalable, secure CI/CD pipelines leveraging AWS Dev Ops tools (e.g., Code Deploy, Lambda, Step Functions, ECS).
Lead containerisation efforts with Kubernetes to support microservices architecture.
Implement and enforce strong network and security practices across AWS environments.
Collaborate closely with developers, traders, and cybersecurity experts to deliver resilient and scalable solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Dev Ops Engineer, ideally in a trading or financial services environment.
Mastery of AWS services and tools, including Cloud Formation and AWS CDK.
Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management.
Proficiency in Python, Golang, Java, or Scala is a bonus.
Expertise in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines with AWS Dev Ops tools.
Solid experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Strong networking and security acumen, particularly within AWS ecosystems.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
