and help grow our presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities
:
Develop and execute a sales strategy for excavators, cranes, and related machinery. Identify new business opportunities within construction, mining, infrastructure, and road building industries. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Conduct product presentations and on-site demonstrations. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to meet
sales targets
. Collaborate with marketing to enhance brand presence and generate leads. Provide after-sales support and maintain accurate records.
Desired Experience :
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Grade 12 / Matric is a minimum requirement. Tertiary qualification in Sales or Marketing (advantageous).
Experience:
Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ sales experience within the earthmoving, mining, or construction equipment industry, specifically in selling Excavators.
Proven track record
of
sales success
with previous experience in selling products such as Excavators, road, piling and concrete machinery. Experience working with both manufacturers and resellers is a plus. Skills & Abilities:
Product Knowledge
:
Extensive knowledge of earthmoving machinery and related products. Sales & Negotiation:
Proven ability to meet or exceed
sales targets
, strong negotiation skills, and closing sales. Mathematical & Financial
Skills:
Solid understanding of pricing, estimates, and basic financial concepts related to sales. CRM & MS Office Proficiency:
Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with CRM software packages. Interpersonal

Strong relationship-building and
communication skills
, both in cold calling and general customer liaison.

Ability to anticipate customer needs, troubleshoot issues, and offer solutions effectively. Technical Aptitude:
