Job Title: Sales Consultant (AfriMaths)

Location: Remote / Regional (Hybrid)

Reports To: Sales & Corporate Manager

Contract Type: Base Salary + Commission

Basic Salary: R8,000 – R10, 000 per month (depending on experience)

Effective From: Immediately

Role Summary

AfriMaths, a leading STEM-focused educational technology company, is seeking driven and passionate Sales Consultants (SCs) to help expand access to our cutting-edge education platforms. Our mission is to provide high-quality mathematics education to students across Africa, and we need individuals who are excited about selling educational solutions to diverse stakeholders, including learners, parents, tutors, and educational institutions.

As a Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in onboarding new learners, promoting AfriMaths’ suite of digital and in-person learning tools, and driving corporate and institutional partnerships. This role is perfect for sales professionals who are enthusiastic about STEM education and technology, and who want to make a meaningful impact on learners’ success.

Sales Consultants will be rewarded through a performance-based commission model, where your efforts in developing new business, upselling services, and growing relationships are financially recognized. If you are a self-starter with a passion for education and sales, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities

Learner Acquisition & Onboarding: Identify and onboard new learners for AfriMaths’ educational platforms, including our PAYG, one-on-one, and group class models.

Product Upselling & Service Expansion: Promote and sell additional services such as Kahoot quizzes, script marking services, and exam preparation tools to enhance the learning experience.

Referral & Network Growth: Generate new leads through referrals from parents, tutors, and educational institutions, ensuring a continuous pipeline of potential learners.

Corporate & Institutional Partnerships: Drive new business by engaging with local schools, NGOs, and other organizations to introduce AfriMaths’ offerings and increase adoption of our STEM-focused educational tools.

Learner Retention & Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with learners and their families to ensure retention, satisfaction, and ongoing engagement with AfriMaths services.

Minimum Requirements

Matric Certificate; higher education preferred.

1 Year proven experience in sales, customer service, or education-related roles.

Strong digital literacy (WhatsApp, Google Suite, CRM tools).

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Self-motivated, goal-driven, and comfortable working independently.

Experience in servicing educational or technology-related products is a plus.
