Our client in the hospitality industry is seeking a dynamic Retail and Merchandising Manager to lead their retail operations. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong experience in sales, retail operations, and stock control, who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all retail operations to ensure smooth daily functioning and exceptional customer service
Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with brand identity and drive sales
Monitor stock levels and implement controls to ensure optimal inventory management
Analyse sales trends and performance data to inform merchandising and pricing strategies
Train, lead and motivate in-store teams to meet KPIs and maintain high operational standards
Collaborate with marketing to execute in-store promotions, events, and visual displays
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards across all retail touchpoints
Conduct regular audits and implement improvements to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar Retail Management or Merchandising role
Strong background in sales, stock control, and retail operations
Experience in the hospitality or lifestyle sector is highly advantageous
Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills
Proficient in retail management systems and MS Office Suite
Highly analytical with a strong commercial mindset
Advantageous:
A valid driver’s license and access to a car (not a requirement but beneficial for site visits and mobility)
