Print Production Technician
Wrap It Up Vehicle Graphics is a small vehicle wrap shop in Edmond, OK. We offer advertising wraps, color change wraps, stripe kits, custom graphics and much more to customers all over Oklahoma City. We have a relaxed, creative work environment in a very small company that was founded in 2018, and has been growing steadily ever since.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a full time production technician to join our small team! This is the hands-on role that turns a finished design into a wrap ready to go on a vehicle. You will run our print and cut equipment, finish and prep every panel, and get jobs staged and ready for our installers. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, enjoys working with their hands, and takes pride in work that has to be right the first time. Experience in a print or sign shop is great, but we are happy to train the right person.
Responsibilities:
– Finishing printed graphics: laminating, trimming, cutting, weeding, masking and labeling panels so they are ready to install
– Running our vinyl plotter for cut jobs and contour cuts
– Learning and eventually running our HP Latex printers and print jobs on your own
– Staging and organizing finished jobs ahead of scheduled installations
– Keeping an eye on our materials and supplies: vinyl and laminate rolls, masking tape, ink and printer maintenance cartridges, and letting us know what needs to be ordered
– Keeping the production area and material storage clean and organized
– Updating and managing job progress on our project board on ClickUp
– Learning to put together quotes and pricing for vehicle graphics, and building quotes for customers as you get comfortable
– Learn the process to quote a vehicle wrap
– Answering the phone and helping customers with questions about their project, drop off and pick up times, and where their job is at- Occasional other tasks around the shop as required
Qualifications:
– Strong attention to detail. Vinyl is expensive and this is work that has to be done right
– Patience and steady hands. Weeding and masking is precise, careful work
– Ability to be on your feet for most of the day and handle rolls of material
– Ability to follow a process consistently and stay organized in a fast paced shop
– Good communication skills and a willingness to get on the phone with customers
– Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new programs
– Previous experience with wide format printing, RIP software (Caldera, Onyx, Flexi, VersaWorks or similar), laminating, plotters or vinyl is a MASSIVE plus
– Previous experience in the vehicle wrap, sign, screen printing or embroidery industry is also a big plus

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
