Position: 3-Phase Installation Electrician (Solar PV Experience)
We are seeking a qualified and experienced 3-Phase Electrician with a solid background in Solar PV system installation, maintenance, and commissioning. You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality electrical work on both residential and commercial solar projects, ensuring compliance with SANS wiring regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Electrical installations for solar PV systems (3kW to 100kW+)
AC & DC wiring, DB board configurations, inverter and battery connections
Fault finding, testing, and commissioning of solar systems
Conduct inspections and issue Certificates of Compliance (CoC)
Ensure installations meet industry, client, and legislative standards
Manage junior electricians or subcontractors when required
Maintain safety and quality standards on all job sites
Minimum Requirements
Qualified Installation Electrician (Red Seal Trade Test)
Wireman’s Licence (3-Phase)
Valid PV Green Card (advantageous)
Proven experience in solar PV installations (residential and commercial)
Comfortable working on rooftops, with heights certification being advantageous
Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Must be based in Johannesburg or willing to relocate
