We are looking for an experienced Lawn & Ornamental Pest Control Technician to join our growing team!
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in Lawn & Ornamental (L&O) pest control, with a strong understanding of South Florida landscapes, ornamental plants, turf, common pests, diseases, and proper treatment methods.
Responsibilities
- Perform Lawn & Ornamental pest control services at residential and commercial properties
- Inspect turf, trees, shrubs, and ornamental plants for insects, disease, fungus, and other issues
- Identify problems and determine appropriate treatment methods
- Properly mix and apply fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, and other products according to label requirements
- Maintain accurate service records
- Communicate professionally with customers and property managers
- Maintain company equipment and vehicle
- Follow all company policies and state regulations regarding pesticide application and safety
Experience
- 5+ years of Lawn & Ornamental pest control experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of South Florida turf, plants, insects, diseases, and treatment methods preferred
- Previous experience servicing HOA, condominium, commercial, or residential properties is a plus
- Pest control licenses/certifications are a plus
