Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer/Shipper to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing products for shipment, ensuring accurate packing, labeling, and timely dispatch of orders. Your efforts will directly support efficient warehouse operations, customer satisfaction, and compliance with shipping standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, experience in warehouse management systems, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in order fulfillment.
Duties
- Carefully pack products according to specified guidelines, ensuring protection and proper labeling for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to load and unload goods safely.
- Use RF scanners and inventory management software to accurately track stock levels and update records.
- Prepare shipping documentation in compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely dispatch.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of packing stations to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist with inventory management tasks including stock replenishment, stock counting, and cycle counts.
- Support order picking and packing processes using order picker tools to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Verify shipments against purchase orders using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
- Ensure all shipments meet quality standards and adhere to company policies for packaging and safety.

Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or related roles within a distribution environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP systems.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order quantities and measurements.
- Competence in using RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in packing, labeling, and documentation processes.
- Knowledge of shipping logistics, international trade regulations, and trade compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for data entry and reporting purposes.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners.
- Prior experience with order fulfillment, stocking procedures, and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is preferred.
