Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented Computerized Panel Saw Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will learn to set up and operate our Homag Sawteq B-130 panel saw, operate a panel press for laminates, and execute precise cuts for commercial millwork fabrication.
Core Responsibilities
· Saw Operation: Set up, program, and operate a Homag Sawteq B-130 computerized panel saw to cut wood panels and sheet goods.
· Laminate Pressing: Operate a panel press to press laminates onto substrates to prepare materials for subsequent saw fabrication.
· Fabrication: Perform basic shop millwork fabrication and assembly as needed.
· Material Handling: Load and unload raw materials and finished products, operating a fork truck safely within the facility.
Qualifications and Skills
· Experience: No prior experience is required; we are willing to train the right motivated candidate.
· Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with blueprint reading, millwork fabrication, or CNC machinery is a major plus.
