Package Delivery Driver – Full-time/Part-time – Use Your Personal Vehicle! Jobs in Superior, WI at Gilbert Inc. (Contracted with FedEx Ground and Home Delivery)
Gilbert, Inc. is an independent pick-up and delivery service provider for FedEx Ground, and is looking to hire additional help to deliver packages to residents in areas within a 150 mile area radius of Superior, WI in their own vehicle. All drivers would be needing to start and end their day in Superior, WI.
– Approved vehicles include sedans, station wagons, SUVs, minivans and pick-up trucks (with a covered and secure bed) that are no older than 15 years and have no significant cosmetic damage, and are under 10,001 GVWR.
– You must show proof of insurance and vehicle registration. You must have proper coverage to work with your vehicle. We are not responsible for anything that happens in your vehicle while you are driving it and on-duty performing this role.
– You must be 21 years of age.
– Do you want to get out of the house, paid for exercise and could use some extra money? This is a great alternative or additional source of income for those working DoorDash, Instacart, Uber Eats, etc.
– This job is great for individuals who have 2-4 hours of availability during the day for part time work or this is also something that could be used as full-time work as well with more hours of availability, up to 8-10 hours a day if desired and if the work load permits.
– Shifts are available Mondays – Saturdays
– Drivers will be paid $2/stop completed as well as a mileage rate of $0.725/mile to compensate for fuel as well as wear and tear to your vehicle.
Key qualifications:
– All applicants must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen. Applicants in this position will be subject to random drug screens at the discretion of FedEx, with a zero-tolerance policy.
– Drivers must have no more than 2 citations or traffic violations on their motor vehicle record in the past 3 years.
– No commercial driving experience is required.
– Reliability, strong work ethic, results driven, commitment to excellence, problem solving, time management skills, patience, customer focus.
– Must be committed to safe driving practices
– Must be able to lift 70 lbs, max weight possible is 150 lbs

– Use a scanner, provided by Gilbert, Inc. to log deliveries
