Dental/orthodontic insurance and financial experience preferred.

Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for insurance verification and claims, patient accounts, payment arrangements, account follow-up, and helping patients understand their financial and insurance benefits.
- Assist patients with financial inquiries, contracts, payment plans and understanding their insurance benefits with excellent customer service skills
- Manage patient accounts by processing payments, posting charges and reconciling accounts
- Prepare and submit orthodontic claims efficiently
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims
- Follow up on accounts receivable
Experience
- Proven experience in dental/orthodontic office settings with a focus on billing and collections
- Previous experience working with billing tailored for dental or orthodontic practices is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills coupled with the ability to handle sensitive financial discussions professionally

Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36.0 per week
