Role Description
We are seeking a Front of House Manager for a full-time, on-site position in Franschhoek . The manager will oversee daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, manage staff workflows, and maintain high standards of food and beverage service. Responsibilities include supervising the front-of-house team, handling customer inquiries, coordinating training for staff, and optimizing sales and customer experience. The role also involves solving service-related issues, monitoring quality standards, and contributing to creating an exceptional dining atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage effectively with customers and staff.
- Proficiency in Food & Beverage management, with experience in ensuring quality and adherence to industry standards.
- Experience in team leadership, including staff Training and development.
- Sales acumen to meet and exceed revenue goals, including upselling and promoting menu items.
- Proven ability to work with diverse teams and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Formal training or a degree in hospitality management or a relevant field is a plus.
- Previous managerial experience in the food and beverage or hospitality industry is highly preferred.
