Operations Manager
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION.
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of an organization or specific department, ensuring that processes, systems, and teams are functioning efficiently and effectively. The role involves planning, implementing, and optimizing operational strategies to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance productivity while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Requirements
Must hold a Grade A PSIRA certification for security personnel in South Africa.
A certificate demonstrating training in special events management and crowd control techniques.
A Tactical Combat Training Certificate showing proficiency in handling combat situations in security operations.
A Firearm Competence Certificate in compliance with Regulation 21 of the Firearms Control Act, proving competency in handling firearms for security purposes.
8 to 11 Years of Experience in Security / Policing Industry.

Team Leadership and Management: Supervise and manage operational teams, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure they are working efficiently and meeting targets.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Budget and Resource Management: Manage budgets, resources, and supplies to ensure the operational needs of the business are met cost-effectively.
Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
Problem-Solving and Decision Making: Address operational challenges promptly and make informed decisions to resolve issues and improve processes.
Collaboration Across Departments: Work with other departments (e.g., finance, marketing, human resources) to ensure smooth coordination and communication in achieving business objectives.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards, while mitigating operational risks.
Having good communication skills.
