Job Overview
The Operational Specialist is a flexible, hands-on role built for a fast-paced food truck environment. This position requires someone who can adapt quickly and shift tasks on a dime—supporting everything from customer service to cooking, prepping, assembling orders, and keeping the operation moving smoothly. You’ll be expected to think fast, stay calm under pressure, and help wherever needed to deliver great food and a great guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service and take accurate orders
- Prepare and cook menu items according to HALAL & LOADED standards
- Prep ingredients (cutting, portioning, stocking, labeling, and organizing)
- Assemble, bag, and stage orders quickly and accurately during rush periods
- Operate POS/payment systems and handle cash responsibly when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards (stations, surfaces, tools, and truck)
- Restock inventory and supplies throughout service to prevent delays
- Support opening and closing procedures (setup, breakdown, cleaning, trash removal)
- Communicate clearly with the team to keep timing, quality, and order flow on track
- Follow all company policies, safety rules, and health department guidelines

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a small, busy workspace
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs as needed
- Comfortable working around heat, grills, fryers, and cooking equipment
Schedule
Flexible schedule based on events and operating needs. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.
Pay: $14.00 – $18.00 per hour
