We have entry-level production positions open right now! These are full time, permanent positions.
We have night shift (6 pm to 6 am) openings for floaters. The pay rate is $16.35 an hour. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times your regular rate. For our night shift position, the hours are 6 pm to 6 am. Actual scheduled days can vary, but Floaters typically work between 36 and 72 hours per week (three to six 12-hour nights.) Floaters could work packing bagels, stacking bagels, inspecting bagels, or on our packaging lines.
This is a physical position, which requires standing for up to twelve hours, bending, twisting, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. We manufacture bagels, as we are an industrial bakery, and the ability to tolerate high temperatures is important. The Floater could be packing bagels, stacking bagels, running lines or inspecting bagels. This involves packing and operating packing equipment or assisting with other duties in the packaging area or working on the packing lines and monitoring the progress of equipment on those lines.
In food production, we adhere to strict safety guidelines. No jewelry, nail polish or false nails allowed. PPE including safety glasses and safety shoes is required, and provided at no charge to all employees. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, masks, social distancing, daily health screening and sanitation between uses of shared objects are also required.
